SUMMER SCHEDULE: During the summer my Thursday schedule will be changed to 7:30 am to 1:30 pm.

WSBC and ICBC cases are not accepted

Waitlist: When booking yourself on the waitlist it is important to enter the correct Appointment length (ie. 60 minute appointment versus a 30 minute Appointment), as well as your availability, to ensure the system notifies you if/when an appointment becomes available.

Cancellation Policy: Missed appointments or those cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full appointment fee.

Alison Heald

My name is Alison and I am a registered Physiotherapist in BC. I completed my Physiotherapy degree in 2001 from Otago University in New Zealand.

Treatment techniques include an integration of manual therapy, intramuscular stimulation (IMS dry needling), education, and exercises designed to get your body moving. I strive to determine the root cause of the problem, which helps with prevention of future recurrences.

I believe that it is essential for each client to be an active participant in the treatment process in order to successfully return to their sport, activities, and the basics of daily living. I have experience working with people of all ages and activity levels, with particular interests in running injuries/prevention, hip pathologies, and neck/back issues.

Outside of work I enjoy activities such as trail running, hiking, downhill skiing, and paddle boarding. My fitness pursuits this winter are to improve my indoor climbing skills so that I can keep up with my family!

As a long-time resident of North Vancouver, I look forwards to continuing to help the people in my community and get you on the path to achieving your goals.
